Cobbett Road Library Art Group

We are a group of artists who meet in the library community room on Monday and Wednesday afternoons to draw and paint!

The members have a wide range of abilities from just beginning through to very experienced and we work in watercolour, pastel, acrylics and the various drawing media.

We are not primarily an instructional group although we have some demonstrations by external artists and occasional workshops organised by members. Of course, members are happy to show others, methods and approaches they have learned and to share their experience.

Members' paintings are hung in the library community room and we have more formal exhibitions each year in the spring and autumn.

Anyone is welcome to join, there is no joining fee and the membership cost is presently £12/year to cover refreshments and demonstrators' fees.
